Mick created TAGG - The Alternative Gig Guide in 1979 with Helmut Katterl, the world's first real Street Magazine. He had been involved with his fathers publishing business, Toorak Times and associated publications since 1972.  Mick was also involved in Melbourne's music scene for a number of years opening venues, discovering and managing bands and providing information and support for the industry. Mick has also created a number of local festivals and is involved in not for profit and supporting local charities.        

 
This Thursday, FEB 13, at the inviting WATER RAT HOTEL (South Melbourne), JMQ Jazz Ensemble features Matt Kirsch, a highly respected and sought after singer – guitarist master, who has performed with many fine Australian & International artists, including Georgie Fame, Vince Jonesas, Ross Wilson, David Campbell, Wilbur Wilde, Marcia Hines, Moovin’ & Groovin’ Orchestra and many others.
 
 
The other special guest will be Anton Delecca, award-winning tenor saxophonist and composer, recently back in town from New York. It is an honour to perform with both these fine artists and a joy to have them on the bandstand. They are joined by Michael Harding, Hugh Harvey, Tom Lee & John Montesante for a repertoire of great, exciting and swinging Jazz standards on the theme of L.O.V.E – as befits Valentine’s Eve.
