Inside the SINGLE LADIES rehearsal room

Inside the rehearsal room: the sanitised grunge of Collingwood, three ladies and an improbable friendship.

Multi-award winning local writer Michele Lee’s hilarious, home grown comedy SINGLE LADIES  is about to land – we can’t wait to share this world premiere INK production with you! As contemporary and timely as it gets, Single Ladies will have you in stitches while provoking in-depth foyer conversations about issues close to home, literally.

Our own brilliant ensemble members Caroline Lee and Andrea Swifte are united onstage for the first time, joined by newcomer Jem Lai, directed by the inimitable Bagryana Popov. Designers Romanie Harper (set & costume), Rachel Lee (lighting) and Elissa Goodrich (sound) complete this team of fierce and talented ladies!

Here is your sneak peek into their rehearsal room:

“Whip-smart.…gold star hilarious, cataclysmic theatre that packs a lot of heat…a powerhouse performance by Belinda McClory…Georgina Naidu is marvellously chameleon…and especially vivid…diversely talented actors George Lingard, Emily Milledge and Patrick Durnan Silva whose collective comic timing as insipid chorus members is stunning in equal measure. ” – ★★★★, ArtsHub

“Declan Greene’s production dares to look chaotic, even anarchich, but there’s method in the madness and enormous discipline in the method…extravagant and dynamic.” -The Australian

“Funny and surprising and satiric…Kimberly is played by Michelle Brasier in a beautifully controlled, riveting performance.” – Stage Whispers

Must close on Sunday 1 March.
