The pair will discuss Zable’s latest book The Watermill, and a writer’s journey spanning four decadesculminating in the 2021 Australia Council Award for Lifetime Achievement in Literature. 

The Watermill is a quartet of stories that explores themes of displacement, survival, and resistance that span the globe, and reflect the universal spirit of humanity. 

Zable takes us near and far, weaving tales within tales of people compelled to live extraordinary lives in challenging times.
