NATIVE CATS + LOWER PLENTY *FREE FRONT BAR*

Electronic post-punk duo The Native Cats join forces with indie folk poets Lower Plenty for a free double bill in The Curtin front bar. Both bands have recent albums in the bag, The Native Cats have been spending the last couple of months promoting their recent album ‘The Way On Is The Way Off’ which appeared on plenty of critics ‘Best Of’ listicles for 2023 while Naarm’s outsider folkies Lower Plenty return after the release of ‘No Poets’ (Bedroom Suck Records) for their first show of the year.
Join Al Montfort – Twomey – Jensen Tjhung – Sarah Heyward – Julian Teakle and Chloe Alison Escott for a night full of friends and tunes.

Mick Pacholli

Mick created TAGG - The Alternative Gig Guide in 1979 with Helmut Katterl, the world's first real Street Magazine. He had been involved with his fathers publishing business, Toorak Times and associated publications since 1972.  Mick was also involved in Melbourne's music scene for a number of years opening venues, discovering and managing bands and providing information and support for the industry. Mick has also created a number of local festivals and is involved in not for profit and supporting local charities.
