Black Bats, The Baudelaires and Deep Steve

August 5, 2023 @ 8:15 pm - 11:15 pm AEST

Scarlett Vogue Productions and The Belgrave Hotel are excited for a night of Garage, Surf, Country and Psych Rock.
Black Bats meld surf, rock, garage and psych into catchy tunes. The last album they produced conjures up baking desert plains occupied by roaming cowboys, simmering cacti and mirages that promise everything.
Recently the band venture deeper into the realms of garage, punk and western psych.
The Baudelaires is a four-piece Melbourne band, named after the French poet Charles Baudelaire.
The Baudelaires hypnotic contact high psych-rock sounds combine rich analog fuzz and reverb drenched licks with an occasional single-minded motorik drive. The group has been compared to other modern-day dandies like the Brian Jonestown Massacre, The Warlocks, The Black Angels and Thee Oh Sees.
Deep Steve is a local band bringing their Country and Eastern Surf Garage sounds.
Set Times:
8.45pm Deep Steve
9.45pm The Baudelaires
