Fresh from a sold-out season at Melbourne’s Hamer Hall, two sold out extended seasons with rave reviews at His Majesty’s in Perth, The Paris Cat in Melbourne and entertaining audiences throughout regional Victoria, interstate and abroad, ‘Cilla – You’re My World’ is full of the powerhouse vocals and self-deprecating humour that made Cilla Black one of the UK’s most beloved performers.
Audiences are given a glimpse into the world of the British pop icon and television personality at the peak of her popularity. While belting out ‘Anyone Who Had a Heart’ and ‘Alfie’, Danielle shares stories about Cilla’s childhood in Liverpool. Recounting her meteoric rise to fame, she will dispel a few cheeky showbiz anecdotes about John, Paul, George, Ringo, and her old mate Queen Elizabeth II.

About Danielle O’Malley
Danielle graduated from Lasalle College of the Arts with a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Musical Theatre. Credits include Grandma Josephine in Charlie and The Chocolate Factory (GFO), Skye in Antarctica (Tasmanian Theatre Company), First Date (Pursued by Bear), South Pacific (GFO/Opera Australia), The Wind in The Willows/The Reluctant Dragon (Singapore Lyric Opera), Cabaret (Esplanade Theatre – Singapore). Cabarets include Regards to Broadway at His Majesty’s Theatre, Cabaret Slam at Chapel off Chapel, national tours with the Greenroom award winning A Capella group Ginger and Tonic, and her critically acclaimed and sold-out tours of her one woman shows You’re My World – The Cilla Black Story and Nancy Sinatra – You Only Live Twice. Film credits include The Carrot Cake Conversations (Cannes Film Festival), How It Ends (Milan Fashion Festival), One in a Million (Tropfest finalist) and Give Me a Sign (MIFF winner). Danielle is currently composing a song cycle with support from Creative Victoria.
