Ready to tackle suicide with laughter? To see people, especially men, default under pressure to beauty?
Ready to tear up? Well from this Wednesday you can.
These four actors have astounded me. As is usual with Indy theatre rehearsals are unorthodox taking place in any space you can find.
Today, thanks to the generosity of Alex Vass and Alan Rendell, we are at The Alex. After more talks The Wolves are going to try to make The Alex our home. But back to the actors, Christopher Jay has been with us from the start and is bravely taking 379 to new places.
But Gregory Caine, Rohana Hayes, and Darcy Smith are all new to the script and together we have tested everything, alerting the text to accommodate the discoveries we’ve all found separately and together until a few days out from opening night I’m left knowing that we have done all we could and they have done this exceptionally well. The rest is now up to the Gods of theatre. Will they want our humble offering?
Let’s see. . . Let’s see… Michael Gray Griffith
