A blend of 55.5% Viognier, 16% Roussanne, 15% Marsanne, 10% Grenache Blanc, 3.5% Clairette.
In the glass: A bright clean gold colour with a faint flicker of green around the rim of the glass.
On the nose: This has wonderful bright armours of a heavy-laden orchard filled with peach trees and other summer fruits.
On the palate: The aromatic fruit flows over the palate both bright and clean with exciting light acid bringing every thing into balance, finishing with a light mineral and white stone note.
Once again year in – year out, this wine never fails to please me. I enjoyed this wine with a roast butter chicken stuffed with preserved lemon with all the trimmings.
