We sat down with this talented music artist to learn more about what makes him tick, his approaches to the creative process and much more in this exclusive interview with TAGG!

Hey Bōnd Of Endless Tree, how’s it going? Sum up your music for us in three words!

Super Blaster Awesome. That has to be the best description.

You’ve had quite a journey so far! What inspires you now more than ever to write?

The journey had just begun actually. I write because I need it. I do it to stay aware and present. To truly feel that I’m inside my own body. Sometimes we let the pace of our routines take away our conscience about things, till we find ourselves mindlessly doing something. And when you do it, it can be hurtful. You might not know why or what is not right, but you can feel the symptoms. These symptoms need to be investigated and I believe writing is a great tool to do so.

Why do you make music?

Music is an effective way of conveying something important you might not talk about in a regular conversation. Art really has this unique ability to act as a vessel for communicating complex subjects and concepts in an accessible way. My life was saved by certain things that reached me through this vessel, and I’m grateful for that. I want to be part of this magic.

Tell us all about your new single ‘Drop’!

It’s the one that my mom liked the most, so I’m very stoked about it. I’m not sure if she’ll love all my songs since she’s not very into rap or electronic productions, but she absolutely loved this one. She’s still trying to memorize the lyrics, though. The other day, she was singing along in the car with me, saying “Surrounded by the speed of time,” and I had to correct her, saying, “No, mom, it’s actually ‘speed of life’.” Then she complained that the lyrics weren’t available on her Spotify yet, so guess it was kinda my fault too.

What was the recording and writing process like for this one?

Very long and slow. I changed this song countless times in terms of arrangement, sounds, lyrics, melodies… anything you can imagine. The first time I wrote it, I couldn’t believe how good I was. I was like “Omg I am simply great”. I didn’t know anything about production at the time so it took me over a year just to try to produce it. When I finally tried to produce the demo idea I was like, “God that’s horrific”. Most of the idea was pretty bad, to be honest. I believe it’s like this, especially in the beginning when you’re making music. You make something that makes you feel like a genius at the moment and then some time goes by and you realize everything was pure crap. Then I took another year’s break from the song as I thought everything in it was horrible. When I came back to it again I tried to make a beat having in mind the song idea. That beat became the small interlude part in the middle of the verses with the vocal chops. That inspired me to come up with the rest. The main idea and core of the song I had since the beginning. However, it took me a minute to acquire the means to translate it all into a song.

Is there an EP/album in the works after all your amazing singles?

These songs belong together, that’s for sure. Not necessarily in an EP with the three of them, but in a bigger record. I will need a long time to conceptualize and make things concrete so I won’t say anything for now.

And finally, what does the rest of 2024 look like for Bōnd Of Endless Tree?

I have one more release planned for the end of the year, and I’ll keep working on songs that are coming out in 2025.
