Join us for an engaging and informative workshop on the art of permaculture design using the versatile vector graphics software Inkscape. Permaculture is a holistic approach to designing ecosystems that are sustainable, regenerative, and harmonious with nature. This online workshop will explore applying permaculture design principles to digitally create functional and beautiful landscapes, harnessing Inkscape’s creative tools.
During this workshop, participants will learn the fundamental concepts of permaculture design and how to translate these ideas into visual representations using Inkscape.
Inkscape Basics:
Familiarize yourself with the Inkscape interface and tools.
Learn about vector graphics and their advantages in design work.
Practice basic tasks such as drawing shapes, creating paths, and managing layers.
Applying Permaculture Principles Digitally:
Study real-world permaculture design examples and case studies.
In vector graphics, explore how to represent various permaculture elements (plants, water features, structures).
By the end of the workshop, you will have gained an understanding of permaculture design principles and how to translate them into a visual design using Inkscape. Whether new to permaculture or Inkscape, this workshop offers a unique opportunity to integrate ecological design with digital creativity.

Mick Pacholli

Mick created TAGG - The Alternative Gig Guide in 1979 with Helmut Katterl, the world's first real Street Magazine. He had been involved with his fathers publishing business, Toorak Times and associated publications since 1972.  Mick was also involved in Melbourne's music scene for a number of years opening venues, discovering and managing bands and providing information and support for the industry. Mick has also created a number of local festivals and is involved in not for profit and supporting local charities.
