The Play Reads Initiative Program is a groundbreaking venture dedicated to nurturing emerging and mid-career playwrights, empowering them to craft compelling Australian narratives. Spearheaded by esteemed writer, architect, and photographer Pasquale Palmieri, our mission is to provide a platform for local artists to develop their original scripts. Through our monthly reading series, we aim to offer writers the opportunity to hear their creations come to life , while fostering a vibrant community of actors and artists.
Plot Summary:
REDEMPTION
Tracey is preparing for her son, Ryan’s surprise party when social worker, Fran drops by with a gift. Nosy neighbour, Louise also inserts herself into preparing for the party. When Tracey confesses she’s killed her abusive husband Mike, Fran and Louise must decide Tracey fate.

Mick Pacholli

Mick created TAGG - The Alternative Gig Guide in 1979 with Helmut Katterl, the world's first real Street Magazine. He had been involved with his fathers publishing business, Toorak Times and associated publications since 1972.  Mick was also involved in Melbourne's music scene for a number of years opening venues, discovering and managing bands and providing information and support for the industry. Mick has also created a number of local festivals and is involved in not for profit and supporting local charities.
