He worked in the studio on some of his re-arrangements of classic songs with Australian legend and Arai winner Peter Blyton who was the producer who did “Run To Paradise” by the Choirboys. Peter also did a lot of recording with Michael Hutchence from Inxs and has also worked with bands like Metallica and was the in house producer for Sony Records. Prior to Covid, Wayne and Peter had been talking about doing an album of The Party Animals and using their rearrangements of the songs they were playing.
Darren Ryan –
Darren was the Party Animals drummer for 10 years at The Corner Hotel . Since those days he has played in bands and recorded with Adam Thompson – Chocolate Starfish, Steve Kilby – The Church.
Until recently Darren had been living in Sydney where he played in fun bands with many of Australia’s best known musicians.
Darren was chosen as the drummer for The Soul Movers a super star band put together by Murray Cook the guitar player from the Wiggles. The band went to America and recorded in some of the most legendary studios in America. The album was nominated for a Grammy.
