Welcome to part 2 of the 3-part program featuring Val Waller.

In the last program we learned much about Val but two things really stood out. The first is that Val has a really independent streak, which came from her mother. The other came from her becoming an air hostess with TAA during the 1950’s, which provided a most entertaining and informative story.

In this part of her story, Val shares more about her time with TAA including some fascinating idiosyncrasies of some of the pilots.

We also share in her story of how she met her husband to be, John and how after marrying him, they came to live in Papua New Guinea which bought with it, its own challenges.
