I wonder what will happen next. Experts say that the devastating shallow quake in Japan should have no further chain effect on the seismic plate activity in the region.
But surely these events have been on the cards for  a long time and even if the modern geological experts have no way of actually predicting events of this magnitude it seems that human intuition and the long range forecasting of the ancients may in fact carry some weight.

The ‘Big One’ along the United States’ west coast has also been waiting to pop, could this current activity be a sign that this event is not that far into the future?
