WAY at La Mama Courthouse, Carlton

Written and performed by Sally McKenzie and directed by Sean Mee.

A thought-provoking play about homeless women.  It’s easy to think of homeless people as either alcoholics or drug-affected.  However, this play makes you realise that anyone can be homeless, from working women and domestic abuse, or caught up in gambling addiction.

Sally played the role so authentically and convincingly that many may have assumed that she was actually Lynne, the documentary maker.

The audience after seeing this play, will think differently about homeless people in the future.
