Wakey, Wakey trailer | Random Acts of Theatre l Easter hours | Ticket Giveaway

Wakey, Wakey is profound in a quiet, modest way. The production is exquisite and very moving, yet the real impact is felt in the days that follow. This is a play that comes back to you in lovely little ways, I think for a very long time.

Ensemble member Justin Hosking and guest actor Nicole Nabout inhabit the roles beautifully, and each element of the production, led by director David Myles, is in sync. The invitation extended by Eno, and by all of us in staging the play, goes far beyond seeing a good show.

I can’t wait for you to experience it. Don’t be discouraged by the chilly nights, wrap yourself up in the warmth of Wakey, Wakey.

See you there,

Ella Caldwell

Random Acts of Theatre are happening at Red Stitch!

We are liaising with theatre groups, public high schools and youth organisations around Melbourne to offer young theatre enthusiasts between the ages of 16-24 the opportunity to apply for a complimentary Red Stitch subscription.

We want to make theatre more accessible. We love the conversations we have with young audience members who are inspired by the relevant, provocative work we create, and we want to offer more of tomorrow’s audiences and theatre-makers great opportunities to engage with the arts.

We invite you, our audience and community, to play a part in strengthening the role of theatre in Australia by purchasing a subscription as a Random Act of Theatre. You can find out more on our website, or get in touch with Hannah at box office on (03) 9533 8083.
