HUBERT PAREROULTJA – ORBITAL LANDSCAPES
Vivien Anderson Gallery is delighted to present the world premiere solo exhibition of watercolour paintings by HUBERT PAREROULTJA in association with Iltja Ntjarra Many Hands Art Centre, NT and in conjunction with the Big hART world premiere of Namatjira Project at the Melbourne International Film Festival (MIFF).
OPENING WEDNESDAY 26 JULY 6PM – 8PM
Speaking on Hubert Pareroultja’s behalf and with his consent at the opening evening will be Alison French, independent curator and author of Seeing the Centre: The Art of Albert Namatjira 1902 – 1959.
Alison’s extraordinary scholarship extends to insightful personal anecdotes about the artists, having formed lasting friendships with the artists children and children’s children.

CONGRATULATIONS TO WYNNE PRIZE FINALISTS
We are delighted to announce that gallery artists TERESA BAKER and BERYL JIMMY from Tjungu Palya, SA, have been selected as finalists in the prestigious Wynne Prize at the Art Gallery of New South Wales.
Teresa Baker’s epic painting, Minyma Malilunya , will also be featured in her solo exhibtion at Vivien Anderson Gallery in November.

BALLARAT INTERNATIONAL FOTO BIENNALE
Gallery artists MAREE CLARKE, KENT MORRIS and JAMES TYLOR have been selected to exhibit in Tell , an exhibition of contemporary Indigenous photography, at the Ballarat International Foto Biennale in August.
