This month, we welcome The Village Juicery – the newest addition to our Cecil Street restaurant precinct, serving up delicious fresh juices plus healthy breakfast and lunch options; Joe Grbac of Saxe Restaurant shares his top picks for the season and we welcome over 250 local CEO’s to an overnight sleepover for a good cause.
Kids Can Cook
Keep the kids entertained these school holidays with a hands-on cooking class! Kids can learn how to make colourful hamburgers, rice paper rolls and other delicious recipes that are perfect for the school lunchbox.
The rooftop carpark will be closed to the public on Thursday 20 June as the Market hosts the 2019 Vinnies CEO Sleepout. The event aims to raise money and awareness for homelessness and poverty in Australia.
Winter Produce
It may be cooling down, but many crops survive the chill to produce some of our favourite fruit and vegetables. Joe Grbac, Head Chef at Saxe, gives us the lowdown on what’s in season, including mandarins, broccoli and cauliflower.
The Village Juicery
For those who are gluten free, dairy free or vegan, our newest trader is your friend! Serving a delicious seasonal menu including soups, toasties, acai bowls, smoothies and turmeric lattes, be sure to stop in on your next visit to the Market.
SO:ME Space Pop-Ups
Do you know a local designer who would like to showcase their wares at the Market? We are on the lookout for emerging designers and creatives interested in a pop-up stall within SO:ME Space, the Market’s popular retail precinct.
Winter Soup Recipes
Feeling the chill? Defrost with these hearty winter soup classics; minestrone, pumpkin and an Asian chicken meatball soup with noodles and vegetables. Soup is an easy and nutritious weekly meal prep for a lazy Sunday afternoon.
