PRESAVE “BURNOUT DAYS”

Having both played Lollapalooza on the weekend just gone, flipturn were joined by Old Mervs at a sold out official afterparty at Park West in Chicago. Old Mervs have recently teamed up with flipturn to collaborate on title track “Burnout Days” which will be released on August 20, available to presave here.

flipturn frontman Dillon Basse said, “We truly couldn’t be more excited to be coming to Australia for the first time. Australia has a history of producing some of the best music, so it was a true honour to have a band like Old Mervs featured on this new version of our title track “Burnout Days”. We’ve always thought “Burnout Days” was a summer song, and since we will be coming over during the Australian summer we thought they would be the perfect fit.”

Old Mervs’ Dave House said, “We are absolutely stoked with this collab with flipturn! “Burnout Days'” is such a fun song and playing around in the studio with it was a blast. It’s really refreshing and exciting working on something like this, features aren’t something you get to do all that often so a big thanks to flipturn crew for having us on this one.”

Formed in Jacksonville, FL, flipturn first came together in high school, where they worked passionately to turn garage meet-ups into playing college house shows into headlining sold-out dates for thousands, performing across continents to their rapidly-expanding and deeply-dedicated fanbase.

Releasing their debut album Shadowglow in 2022, the band went on to perform acclaimed festival sets at Bonnaroo, Lollapalooza, and Governor’s Ball and sharing stages with names like Two Door Cinema Club, The Revivalists, Mt. Joy, and Rainbow Kitten Surprise.
