Yorkshire-raised London-based Billie Marten is returning to Australia and New Zealand in 2026 following her last sold out visit to our shores in January 2025. Billie is set to enchant audiences in Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne and Auckland in February next year.
Known for tracks like “La Lune”, “Vanilla Baby” and “I Can’t Get My Head Around You”, Billie Marten is renowned for her intricate indie-folk, earning comparisons to the likes of Julia Jacklin and Laura Marling. Her passions for nature and literature are reflected in her earthy sound and poignant songwriting, exploring social commentary, mental health and relationships.
Hailing from the cathedral city of Ripon in North Yorkshire, Billie grew up surrounded by the sounds of Nick Drake, Joni Mitchell and Kate Bush. Nominated for the BBC Sound of 2016 at only 17 years old, it wasn’t long before Billie’s talent took her to London, where her music career well and truly took off. With five albums now under her belt, Billie’s discography documents her transition from adolescence to adulthood.

Coined “her most confident outing yet” by DIY Mag, Billie’s latest album Dog Eared sees her relinquish some control and embrace a full-bodied band sound. With the plan to separate herself from the singer-songwriter stereotype, Dog Eared came to life with 10 musicians huddled in producer Philip Weinrobe’s (Adrienne Lenker) Brooklyn studio. Having spent the year touring this album around the globe, it’s finally Australia’s turn.
Billie Marten has toured extensively throughout the UK, US and Europe and played major festivals including Glastonbury, Lollapalooza and Australia’s very own Beyond the Valley. Australian fans can expect intimate and cathartic live shows sure to send a chill down your spine.
Don’t miss Billie Marten live in Australia in February 2026
