This one is approximately a 9-minute drive from the suburb of Toorak but it is well worth the journey heading to Richmond for – Burnley Brewing is famous as one of the best breweries in the area. 

According to their website, they combine traditional German brewing techniques with the Melbourne funk. This is an independently-owned brewing company that has been around since 2017. In 2019, they were voted as the best new brewery in Melbourne. Their focus is to produce a wide range of beers using traditional German brewing methods to produce exciting varieties to treat the craving for beer in Melbourne. 

In addition to an impressive selection of beers, Burnley Brewing also has an impressive food menu that ranges from burgers to pizzas. Burnley Brewing is located at 648 Bridge Road in Richmond. 

Otter’s Promise

Located in Armandale, a nearby suburb from Toorak, this is one of the best breweries in the area and is a local favourite. It is a bar and bottle shop in one so you can come in to enjoy the beer or you can drop by to get a bottle or two to bring home.
