    What’s on @Dogs

    Tonight for Thank Funk It’s Hump Day, the fabulous Nina Ferro and The Gold Standard are up with their style of soul, jazz and funk. Thursday Steak and Blues, it’s Roy Paynes Hillbilly Bob Safari and Friday, Ezra Lee Band honky tonks up the night. 

    Saturday Jerome Smith and The Covering Addicts are in the house and Sunday double bill, it’s Feed The Cats at 5pm and then Wired at 8.30pm. 

    Acland Folk Club on Sunday at 3.30pm has The Endlings playing this intimate space. Except a little bit of dark folk and alternative country. Limited seats only, $15.50 tix  book here

    are a 3-piece Melbourne band playing new Original songs. Songwriter David Bowers on guitar and vocals (Nubiles, Mr Universe), Alice Garner (Xylouris Ensemble) on cello & Dee Hannan (Xylouris Ensemble, Caroline No) on vocals & mandolin play alt country/dark folk songs, carefully crafted with delicate brooding melodies and harmonies.

    Mick Pacholli

    Mick created TAGG - The Alternative Gig Guide in 1979 with Helmut Katterl, the world's first real Street Magazine. He had been involved with his fathers publishing business, Toorak Times and associated publications since 1972.  Mick was also involved in Melbourne's music scene for a number of years opening venues, discovering and managing bands and providing information and support for the industry. Mick has also created a number of local festivals and is involved in not for profit and supporting local charities.
