THE FINDERS KEEPERS MARKETS RETURN TO MELBOURNE, FIRST TIME SINCE 2019

The Finders Keepers have announced their long-awaited return to design-loving Melbourne, bringing their consciously-curated markets back to the Royal Exhibition Building next month for the Autumn Winter long weekend event 8-10 July 2022.

Hosted during NAIDOC Week, more than 200 stallholders from across Australia are getting ready to descend on Melbourne for the come-back event, including up to 20 Indigenous Program stallholders in partnership with City of Melbourne.

The Finders Keepers managing director Sarah Thornton said the team was excited to finally swing open the market doors again in what is expected to be The Finders Keepers’ biggest event of the year.

“We know Melbourne is a big design-loving city, our visitors love supporting small, creative brands and meeting the makers so we can’t wait to bring the market magic back this season,” Ms Thornton said.

“This event we are thrilled to be able to expand our Indigenous Program, offering sponsored stall opportunities to 20 First Nations-owned businesses thanks to the support of City of Melbourne.”

The expanded Indigenous Program will feature the likes of fashion labels Gammin Threads and Clothing the Gaps, as well as Taka Gin Co. distilled with native ingredients, take-home greenery from Pop Wilder and more. View the full Indigenous Program line-up.

Sustainable fashionistas will celebrate with hand-printed Maker & Mineral, cosy handmade knits by Loré Loré, Melbourne-made garments by TogethernessWolf & MishkaFarn and so many more.

DIY enthusiasts will love near-cult-status newcomers Cardigang with their chunky knit kits for beginners, as well as quirky cross-stitch DIYs from The Craft Kit

Ceramics collectors are in for a treat from miniature wheel-thrown pieces by Tiny Pots Melbourne, to earthy-toned takeaway cups by Lucy Jane Ceramics, and colourful botanicals painted on Chimerical Homewares.

Local food vendors will mend the market munchies, with drinks at the ready thanks to Brookie’s GinMinimum Wines and Moon Dog Craft Brewery.
