Melbourne composer and chanteuse Tanzer will unveil her debut EP Four Love Songs by Tanzer independently on Monday, May 16.
Written and arranged by Tanzer, produced and arranged by Angus Leslie (Sex On Toast) and mixed by Jean Paul Fung & Tony Espie, her debut EP, is a densely orchestrated epic with tales spun of desperate love affairs and fabulous heartbreak, Tanzer delivers with a haughty glare and a swelling, thumping soundscape.
Equal parts dreamy, stark and seductive, Tanzerconjures 60s film soundtracks, new-wave divas and otherworldly exotica – but ultimately lives in a genre all her own.
