LOVE TOWN – single out NOW

LOVE TOWN   my second single is OUT JUNE 25th.
All going to plan (insert canned laughter here as plans are a thing of the past), I’ve decided to release the album in September. I wish I had the energy for all the pre save / order biz and some red carpet fanfare because I feel this song has come together in a gently beautiful way thanks to everyone who played on it, coupled with Roger Bergodaz’s mixing and Colin Wynne’s mastering.
I hope I’m not ripping off my latest offspring by pushing it out of the nest sans gigs or promotion but truly, marathon fatigue has set in.
Our shows went to lockdown heaven, so until we reschedule I’ll keep putting songs out and I hope you’ll keep listening.

This is a jangly, country pop tale about a late night departure from the honeymoon suite and lovers separated by miles and misdemeanours. Bruised feelings have never sounded so sweet thanks to my special guests Dom MarianiAsh DaviesBen Franz Amy Valent Curlis

If you would like to visit Love Town via my Bandcamp page, here’s the link, if you’d like to stay longer or even take up permanent residency you can buy the track and we’ll all benefit.

There’s a film clip on the way with footage from the launch at George Lane but all your Christmases can’t come at once.

Yours in cyberspace, and hopefully in person again soon,

During one of Melbourne’s infamous lockdowns I decided to put a few of the songs off my new album to the dance test. I channelled my best Solid Gold / Isadora Duncan moves and this is one of the results.

In case you still haven’t seen the clip for KISS SOMEONE featuring my lovers and loners from near and far, here’s another opportunity to swim in a sea of love for approximately 3.10 minutes.
