Stepping out of the confines of usual discotheques and into unusual open surroundings; Sunshine People present the magic number three in their ideology for dance on Sunday, May 15th at Shadow Electric.
BELL TOWERS [ PUBLIC POSSESSION]
Melbourne-born, London-based producer, and DJ, Bell Towers, has been holding down dancefloors and airwaves with his idiosyncratic blend of Italo-disco, J-pop, new wave, house and techno for the past eight years. Alongside Misha Hollenbach (P.A.M.), he pieced together a series of essential, irreverent mixes and established cult Melbourne party, Bamboo Musik (R.I.P.), a bi-monthly basement jam fabled for its spaced out music policy and obsessively detailed themes that became somewhat of a HQ for Melbourne heads and party people alike. His various productions released on Public Possession, Internasjonal and Rüf Kutz cater to both the dance floor and the poolside; a slew of blissed-out rollers, delicately balancing rhythmic and melodic sensibilities.

From the notorious heavenly regatta, Ben Fester has cemented himself as an influential figure in the Sydney dance community. Having consistently played across the country and with a record collection of limitless obscurities, you should expect nothing short of a journey.
