SUNNYBOYS ADD NEWCASTLE / MORE SUPPORTS

Bowing to continual public demand, Sunnyboys have now added a Newcastle show to their The Last Dance final ever tour.

The show is booked for Sat 4th February at Newcastle’s premiere entertainment venue; NEX @ West City and will be the first ‘rock show’ in the venue since 2019 and post-covid lockdowns. Tickets on sale via feelpresents.oztix.com.au 9,00am Monday 14th November.

“Many acts make comebacks, more now than ever in fact, but I can’t remember feeling so much love in a room for an Australian band that, like its audience, was reliving its glorious youth. It was a fantastic experience.” – The Australian, Sydney Opera House 2013

In other news the Sunnies tour news their show at Sydney’s Dee Why RSL has completely sold out while the proposed show at The Nightquarter on Queenslands Sunshine Coast has been cancelled due to a clash with personal commitments.

In Brisbane support act Flaming Hands have been replaced by Suunnyboys old touring partners Huxton Creepers while in Gosford Murray Cook’s Soul Movers will join the party. Full details below.

But wait, that’s not all! Sunnyboys ’81 – ’84 a double-vinyl album collection is now available. Featuring all the hits, the as-good b-sides, select band faves and a whole live side taken from the bands years as recording artists for Mushroom Records. The limited edition blue vinyl set is available online only via https://artistfirst.com.au/collections/sunnyboys

“Of the hundreds of bands, and thousand of people that we knew at the time, we’re one of the few that can stand up and say “We were really good at what we did, and we’re really proud of what we did” and we’re lucky enough to still be able to get up and say to people ‘We’re really proud to be able to present this to you now”.  Richard Burgman / Sunnyboys guitarist
