Mick created TAGG - The Alternative Gig Guide in 1979 with Helmut Katterl, the world's first real Street Magazine. He had been involved with his fathers publishing business, Toorak Times and associated publications since 1972.  Mick was also involved in Melbourne's music scene for a number of years opening venues, discovering and managing bands and providing information and support for the industry. Mick has also created a number of local festivals and is involved in not for profit and supporting local charities.

ST KILDA TOURISM INDUSTRY E-NEWS

What a month we had in February… St Kilda Festival, the very first Beach Polo Event in Melbourne, Acland Plaza’s very first Pop Up Cinema, Comedy Shows, Live Music, Theatre & too many exciting events not to list. Summer may be over but the sun is still shining in St Kilda with an array of festivities and developments taking place throughout the month of March. Here at St Kilda Tourism & Events we look forward to continue working with each of you in promoting Destination St Kilda!

DISPLAY YOUR BROCHURES AT THE ST KILDA KOMBI!
The St Kilda Tourism Kombi Van is a mobile Visitor Information Service that attends both regular and special events. The Kombi and its volunteers aim to provide information to visitors on the million brilliant things to do and see in St Kilda! To have your brochures / flyers displayed in the Kombi, please feel free to drop them off at the van. For times and locations, please see Kombi locations here…
SKYBUS & FAPAS MARCH UPDATES

  • SkyBus will be running a Grand Prix Express service allowing ticket holders to travel for free
  • St Kilda & FAPAS Will Depart From T4 As At 1st March

APPLICATIONS OPEN FOR SACRED HEART’S “DINE WITH HEART” EVENT
Sacred Heart Mission are calling upon local St Kilda businesses to take part in the annual “Dine With Heart” event. If you would like to support the local community and get involved, applications have now been extended to the end of March. Read more here…
VISITOR VALUE CARD
The St Kilda Visitor Value Card is now in its third month of launch and is currently distributed at the SkyBus Terminal, the SKTE Kombi Van & various accommodation providers in the area. If you would like to stock these cards or have an offer listed please email: katie@stkildamelbourne.com.au
