KICKS OFF TOUR AT CARAVAN MUSIC CLUB THIS FRIDAY

After taking home the ARIA for Country Album of the Year in November 2016, Sara Storer was voted Female Artist of the Year at the Country Music Awards of Australia, held in Tamworth on Saturday 28th January.

Sara also took out the award for Best Bush Ballad for her song, ‘Amazing Night’, which she performed to a capacity audience at the Tamworth Regional Conference and Convention Centre.

The two gongs take Sara’s career tally to 21. Sara is recognised as one of Australia’s finest singer-songwriters whose crisp observations of the Australian landscape and its people provide the solid foundation stone for her music.

Sara Storer was born to sing about real people, honest emotions, and the land she loves and the attention that these latest accolades will bring to her latest work will no doubt further solidify her position as one of our finest musical poets. Sara kicks off a national tour to promote her award-winning album Silos this Friday 3 February at the Caravan Music Club – with a string of dates that will take her to all states and territories throughout 2017.(See attached media release for all dates)

Mick created TAGG - The Alternative Gig Guide in 1979 with Helmut Katterl, the world's first real Street Magazine. He had been involved with his fathers publishing business, Toorak Times and associated publications since 1972.  Mick was also involved in Melbourne's music scene for a number of years opening venues, discovering and managing bands and providing information and support for the industry. Mick has also created a number of local festivals and is involved in not for profit and supporting local charities.
