Mick created TAGG - The Alternative Gig Guide in 1979 with Helmut Katterl, the world's first real Street Magazine. He had been involved with his fathers publishing business, Toorak Times and associated publications since 1972.  Mick was also involved in Melbourne's music scene for a number of years opening venues, discovering and managing bands and providing information and support for the industry. Sparkle-puppy host, Lisa-Skye, presents a spectacular rotating line-up of the Fest’s most diverse acts. Light on straight white guys with stale gags, heavy on smart, silly and sweet laughs.

Comedy, storytelling, music, vaudeville, sketch, improv, cabaret, burlesque from the best established & emerging acts. Safe but never tame!

Every performance is a relaxed performance. BRING YOUR BABIES IF YOU CAN’T GET A SITTER. But once they’re at an age where they can comprehend whats going on, please no, it’s 18+.

ACCESS NOTES:
– One small step, no handrail, even flooring throughout
– Adequate space for a mobility scooter user to access the show without having to disembark their scooter
– Wheelchair seating area not allocated but immediately provided on request
– Street parking at front and back of venue, approx. 50 and 100m from front door respectively.
– No disabled parking nearby
– Tram stop 127 is outside, serviced by 1 and 6 trams
– All toilets are gender neutral
– We apologise; toilets are not wheelchair accessible
– Venue serves alcohol and is 18+ (excl. babes in arms)
