Mick created TAGG - The Alternative Gig Guide in 1979 with Helmut Katterl, the world's first real Street Magazine. He had been involved with his fathers publishing business, Toorak Times and associated publications since 1972.  Mick was also involved in Melbourne's music scene for a number of years opening venues, discovering and managing bands and providing information and support for the industry. Mick has also created a number of local festivals and is involved in not for profit and supporting local charities.

Punk Journey, in conjunction with CO-CO Bananas record store, is proud to present ‘Punk a Photographic Journey’ –  a punk photo installation by punk historian Melynda von Wayward.
Showcasing 75 images from the contemporary Melbourne punk scene that will be projected inside Co-Co Bananas record store…
All of the images were taken by Punk historian Melynda von Wayward at events like the infamous ‘Punk Pub Crawl’ and other punk gigs around town between the years 2004 – 2007.
Come along and see gravity defying hairdos, handcrafted studded jackets, vibrant clothing and the anti-social attitude that goes hand in hand with being a punk.
This event is part of the 2025 Sleepless Footscray Festival and will run from 2-18 May inside CO-CO BANANAS Record Store.
Sleepless is a spellbinding Festival of public art and space activation nestled in the vibrant heart of Footscray.
Punk a Photographic Journey photo installation will be officially launched on the 10th May at 5pm at CO-CO BANANAS Record Store – 32 Chambers St, Footscray (just off the Footscray Mall)
