First up, thank you so much for being here. I have been so lucky over the past two years to find such a beautiful community full of kindred spirits.

One of my favourite parts of the past two years has been improvising long-form instrumental pieces of music over on my Twitch streams.

Because all the best things in life take time.

It takes time to build a community, to build trust, and to build an epic, cinematic piece of music with layers of differing complexity.

Finally, I have all my duckies lined up in a row and I’m launching my new subscription club #xanimakes over on Bandcamp!

It’s just like a Patreon, except that it’s all audio based, and all high quality. No demos or behind-the-scenes videos. No tidbits or sketches. Just intricately woven soundscapes celebrating my love and passion for improvisation and the violin.

How does it work?

To sign up for a subscription, you pay AUD$10 per month over on Bandcamp (or you can pay more if you wish!). Then on the 4th day of every month, you’ll receive a brand new piece of music, mixed and mastered by master engineer and audio craftsman Isaac Barter.

This piece of music is only available to you. It’s not up on Spotify, or Apple Music, and no one else can buy it.

You’ll also receive every single new digital release from whenever you sign up until the end of time.

Oh, and did I mention that you get 10% off all my merch forever! That includes new edition tees, CDs, vinyl and whatever else I release.

The best part though, is that you are contributing to the sustainability of my music-making future.

Then, after 12 months of releasing #xanimakes music, the ones you love most will be turned into an album ready for release.

Wanna sample?

To give you an idea of what to expect, check out the first ever #xanimakes improvised instrumental that I made last year here.

This track is called “Dirty Mountain”, and I’m very excited to announce that it will be available on all streaming services from March 28th.

Sign me up!

First drop April 4th

Once you’re signed up, get ready with your favourite cup of herbal tisane (or fine wine), load up your most reliable hi fi system (or noise cancelling headphones), sit back and let the artisanal sounds wash over you, recharging your spirit and soul.

Sign up any time before April 4th to receive your first track. All tracks drop in the evening of the fourth day of the month, once you’re home from work and ready to be re-energised for the week ahead.

I’m excited to go along on this journey with you.

Let’s hear what we can make.
