There have been significant changes in employment laws through the Government’s ongoing Industrial Relations reform over the last 18 months which impact on businesses of all sizes, in all industries.
Amongst these reforms are changes to fixed term contracts, engagement of contractors and how casual employment is treated. There is also a new right for employees to disconnect from work and a new positive duty for employers to take reasonable steps to prevent sexual harassment in the workplace.
Join CCIWA’s Associate Director of Workplace Relations, Ryan Martin to get on top of these new changes and how they are likely to impact on your business as well as an update on some of the other changes to employment laws that will impact on businesses in the culture and arts industry.
