Next week, Ranters Theatre and Creative VaQi take audiences into the unknown. Part of the 2018 Festival of Live Art, UNKNOWN NEIGHBOURS begins inside one of four residences around St Kilda as performers from Melbourne and Seoul create connections to the homes and people within.

This intimate experience then moves on from interior reflections, as audiences are guided through the streets surrounding Theatre Works, merging theatre with the environment.

Tickets are selling fast less than 40 tickets available per show!

FIERCE

MARCH 28 – APRIL 8
march into theatre works | unknown neighbours + fierce
What do you see when you see me? Me? You don’t know what to do with me. You have to do something with your body and you don’t know what to do with me… What is my body to you?

FIERCE follows Suzie Flack, the first female footballer to play professionally in the AFL. Written by Jane E Thompson and directed by Alice Darling, this brilliantly unforgiving play tackles gender, sport and what happens when norms are challenged and lines are crossed in Australia’s deeply entrenched sporting culture.

Opening in less than 3 weeks, this is one sporting event that you do not want to miss.

For ONE DAY ONLY, Kyung-Sung Lee (Artistic Director, Creative VaQi) will be running an exclusive two-hour workshop focusing on his body of work and how his practice questions what contemporary theatre can be.

ADULT // $30
CONC // $25

“I don’t define theatre as a form of art that is fixed. Sometimes in Korea I don’t even use the word theatre. But in general I don’t see it as a fixed form. The essential point is how we share the same intense presence with the audience.” – Kyung-Sung Lee
