Man Meets Mountain

2017 Malbec

Argentina has that ‘little’ mountain range  – the Andes. This has a great influence on the wines.  As you go higher up the mountain, it is cooler.  The grapes ripen slower and more elegant wines are made.

Argentinean Malbecs are known for their full bodied styles with rich fruit flavours. These go brilliantly with their great steaks.  But sometimes you want something which is a bit more elegant!  Enter Man Meets Mountain 2017 Malbec.

Some of the fruit for this wine comes from vineyard at 1000 metres above sea level!  Here you have a full bodied wine with lots of ripe black and red cherries and plums. Even though the wine has 14% alc/vol, it does not taste at all hot. The tannins are soft making it really easy drinking and it has a long finish. And it is elegant!

Great with the steaks or any winter hot pot – meat based or vege based.

Available at Blackhearts and Sparrows

Happy drinking J
