Mick created TAGG - The Alternative Gig Guide in 1979 with Helmut Katterl, the world's first real Street Magazine. He had been involved with his fathers publishing business, Toorak Times and associated publications since 1972.  Mick was also involved in Melbourne's music scene for a number of years opening venues, discovering and managing bands and providing information and support for the industry. Mick has also created a number of local festivals and is involved in not for profit and supporting local charities.

Brought to you by the City of Port Phillip and St Kilda Festival, Live N Local is a celebration of and for the City of Port Phillip local community and visitors. For the second year the Festival will warm up the last few days of winter and run August 19 until August 26.

Local venues, hidden gems and industry organisations open their doors to eight days of free live music performances and artist development opportunities.

The City of Port Phillip are looking for traditional and non-traditional venues and hot spots to host live performances during Live N Local. Call for Entries for musicians and bands to participate in the 2017 Live N Local Festival are also open. See Media Release here…
