‘Set within the parameters of the front gallery space, Coulter has integrated Linden’s existing fireplace into the work, to push the notion that painting can articulate space in a way that challenges the historical use of the medium.’
Gemma Pass, Art Guide Australia, 7 March 2016
‘The judges of the Linden Art Prize Emma Crimmings, (former) Director of Gertrude Contemporary, and Anthony Fitzpatrick, Curator of Tarrawarra Museum of Art perhaps nail it in their comment: The winners were ultimately chosen for the emotional and conceptual depth that their works conveyed.’
Gina Fairley, ArtsHub, 17 March 2016
Linden New Art is open Tuesday to Sunday 11.00AM to 4.00PM and until 8.00PM on Wednesdays. We are located at 26 Acland Street St Kilda Victoria 3182
