September was a quiet month as I spent most of it being favourite aunty to my niece and nephew whilst their parents took a well deserved holiday. While I was away, I found some time to upload another one of my previous albums to the cloud. Big Gold Sun is now available for digital download and you can stream it on Spotify and Apple Music. I’m hoping to get Blue Angel up in the next week, so keep an eye out for that too!

Kely Auty - Big Gold Sun Album
Highlights of September were the first showing of our documentary which the band made when we were in Memphis, USA in January for the 2018 International Blues Challenge. The showing was for the fans who supported us in our crowd funding campaign … everyone seemed to enjoy the film and many said they felt they were right there with us. So many memories came flooding back and I am very proud of our achievements and thankful to those who made it happen. Keep an eye out, we will be having more screenings over the next few months.

Another high point was the launch of (BMV) Blues Music Victoria which will be working alongside Music Victoria to help create outcomes for Blues in Victoria. Lloyd Spiegel and I are Ambassadors and I will be involved in discussions to help grow the Blues music sector. This is really exciting news so go to BMV Facbook Page and Like, Follow and Share to spread the word.
