JMQ’s Jazz year opened splendidly last week and thank you to everyone who came along.
 
If not, you may know with new owners at Golden Gate Hotel, they have their own ideas, so at least through until June, there will be a few ad hoc Thursdays when comedy shall be in the Jazz room. When you attend our gigs, we shall give you flyers with upcoming dates printed for you, to avoid confusion.
 
Meanwhile, you are invited to join JMQ JAZZ Ensemble at the Golden Gate Hotel on Thursday FEB 6, 2025 for another scintillating evening of fine Jazz entertainment, with a vibrant, versatile and talented songstress, Juliarna Clark and featured saxophonist Anton Delecca, alongside an All-Star line up. Meals and drinks are available all evening, with doors open at 6.30 pm and Live Jazz 7 pm. Pre-booking your table/seat is preferred on www.trybooking.com/COBWU Or bring $20 cast to door.
Free street parking near the venue from 6pm is available too, to increase your comfort and theres Public Transport nearby too. Everyone is welcome.

Mick created TAGG - The Alternative Gig Guide in 1979 with Helmut Katterl, the world's first real Street Magazine. He had been involved with his fathers publishing business, Toorak Times and associated publications since 1972.  Mick was also involved in Melbourne's music scene for a number of years opening venues, discovering and managing bands and providing information and support for the industry. Mick has also created a number of local festivals and is involved in not for profit and supporting local charities.
