On the nose

The perfume of bright red cherries, white dusty purple plums with a hint of oak and the distinctive whiff of warm Barossa soil.

All backed up with old world herbs and Italian brambles. This wine is everything that excites me about Australian Grenache.

In the mouth

The wine offers good texture with mid weight red fruits. A little gritty adding some complexity, to the easy tannins, that don’t over power the wine but enhanced the earthy finish.

If you are looking for a wine to replace Pinot Noir as a harmonious match for Peking duck look no further, as this is an outstanding example of an Australian Grenache. This wine will be at its best with spicy foods.
