Dear Jazz Lovers,
We look forward to celebrity saxophonist-singer WILBUR WILDE returning to perform JAZZ with The JMQ Ensemble at WATER RAT HOTEL on Thursday, FEB 1 at 7PM
Wilbur and band leader John have been pals for over 40 years, since teenage Wilbur auditioned for a band John was in, then in the late 1970s they toured together with 'Jo Jo Zep & The Falcons', and practised Jazz in motel rooms, between shows. Subsequently they have performed together across genres, and in recent years, mainly Jazz with JMQ.
On Jazz Thursdays, The Water Rat Hotel transforms into a welcoming Jazz venue, serving fine Jazz as well as delicious meals and drinks during the show. On FEB 1, the JMQ line up of Michael Harding, Tony Floyd, Ben Robertson & John Montesante, will join Wilbur for this stunning evening. Doors open at 6.30pm and Live Jazz at 7pm.
