Hips is the brainchild of LUKI, a Swedish Grammy- and Denniz Pop Awards nominated songwriter and producer. A project born out of love for poo music in 2016, Hips has gone from strength to strength, including hit single ‘Loose Tonight’ being streamed over 13 million times, showing that he truly does have the modernised songwriting knack that all pop lovers crave.
2023 sees more music from Hips, and his latest single ‘gimme gimme’ is an ode to the giants of ABBA, with LUKI imprinting his own sumptuous blend of pop-woven magic in this one. It’s catchy from the off with pristine and crisp production, further highlighting Hips’ full and multifaceted musical arsenal. It has those 80s synth-pop vibes with a 2023 sprinkling, and it’s an absolute joy to listen to.
