For many people at this time of year an unexpected or tough situation can quickly turn into a crisis. We wrote to you recently to ask if you’d support our end of year fundraising appeal for our crisis services to Australian artists and music workers. Thank you for any contribution you are able to make, large or small. It really does make a difference.

I’d like share this video with you as a reminder of what a difference your gift can make. Last year we spoke with musicians Danny Widdicombe, Andy McDonell, the late Carol Lloyd and retired roadie Noel Jefferson. They described why having a safety net like Support Act is so crucial when you work in music and experience a serious crisis- because “there is no one else”. If you’d like to see how your support makes a difference in the lives of others, please take a moment to watch this.

It’s not too late to give to our end of year appeal. You can help us put food on the table and gifts under the tree: donate today and help Support Act send every service user a supermarket essentials gift card. All gifts over $2 are tax deductible.

When you donate we’d like to thank you for your generosity: choose from one of our unique charity ecards. Thanks to Reg Mombassa, Keith Potger of The Seekers, Katie Noonan, Stu Macleod of Eskimo Joe, Samantha Jade and their gorgeous pets for supporting our campaign. Take a look at the cards on offer – we promise it will be really hard to choose which one to pick!

Thank you for your support.

With best wishes,
