Beneath Driver Lane: IYKYK, but basically Melbourne’s best place to catch some blues and indulge in the finest whisky menu around.
About Blues League:
Led by Melbourne vocalist/guitarist Neil Boland (Hawker Heights, [formerly] Pickpocket, [occasionally] Twiggs, and whoever would have him) and exquisitely implemented by Craig Strain, Anthony Stanislavsky and for this one Michael J Shannon, Blues League was born as a ‘side project’* for Neil Boland’s Hawker Heights to get the blues out of their system.
Sample paddle of repertoire artists for the night:
T-Bone Walker, Albert Collins, Jimmie Vaughan, Robben Ford, Duke Robillard, Earl King, BB King, Ray Beadle, all that.

*Funny, a ‘side project’ that is currently gigging more than the main project; no fear there though, Hawker Heights has just entered pre-production mode for a recording. Follow Hawker Heights on the socials etc to stay updated; funk is imminent there.
