Lomond Acoustica Presents: Kira J & Christina Green

Kira Janowsky brings a vibrant fusion of indie folk, blues, country, and Eastern European roots to the Lomond Hotel for Acoustica Night. Winner of the 2018 Maldon Minstrel Award, Kira recently made the Australian Songwriters Association top 30 for her single ‘Winter in Budapest’ alongside five 2024/25 category shortlist nominations. Backed by lead guitarist Pat Evans and Ian McDonald, her soulful vocals and deeply moving songwriting weave a rich, heart-capturing tapestry that bridges storytelling across destinations near and far.

Christina Green is a Melbourne-based singer-songwriter who performs original contemporary folk songs and selected covers with guitar and ukuleles. Spanning styles from folk/rock to cabaret/chanson, her songs have been described as “snapshots, portraits, landscapes, stories and moments in time, pieces of mindfulness” – with a lyrical focus on the stuff of everyday life. She looks forward to featuring songs from her new CD Tomatoes at the Lomond Acoustica.
