Enjoy a night under the spectacular Melbourne CBD skyline adjacent to the Yarra for this unique outdoor cinema experience in The Common Man garden including full restaurant and bar menu available throughout the movie which can be ordered directly to your table from your mobile device.
The Common Man also is seeking to assist those in need where possible so they will be donating $9 from every ticket sold to this Outdoor Cinema session to The Red Cross QLD & NSW floods appeal.
Annie (Kristen Wiig) is a single woman whose own life is a mess, but when she learns that her lifelong best friend, Lillian (Maya Rudolph), is engaged, she has no choice but to serve as the maid of honor. Though lovelorn and almost penniless, Annie, nevertheless, winds her way through the strange and expensive rituals associated with her job as the bride’s go-to gal. Determined to make things perfect, she gamely leads Lillian and the other bridesmaids down the wild road to the wedding.

This is the space underneat the maquee outlined in the pictures above. This area is weather proof and is the nearest to the screen.
Lawn – Outside
In the same area as the above but outside of the marquee. It is still a fantastic uninterupted view of the screen but is outdoors.
How does the drink and ice cream work?
Once you check in with our host you’ll be provided with codes you can use on our ordering app Mr Yum. So if you want to wait until after you order some dinner before you tuck into your ice cream then you can order it after.
The Common Man menu has many options for all dietary requirements. If you have an intolerance to dairy or are vegan we can arrange an alternative to the Magnum ice cream. Please make note of this at time of purchase. The alternative will be Manager’s choice.
Valentine’s Eve Outdoor Cinema is a reserved seating event. You may arrive any time from 6pm. Due to the current requirements to check vaccinations, check everyone in and logistics involved in seating everyone we advise you give yourself time to arrive and get comfortabe.
Our marquee and outdoor setup is rated for use in almost all weather situations. Unless there is a freak weather event the show will go on. If you have booked the lawn outside space be aware that if there is rain there will be limited cover.
In the event that the movie is cancelled due to weather we will refund in full.

Due to the immense impact COVID-19 and the reduction of capacity that it has brought we regretfully inform you that we will not accept cancellations this year after purchase if the event is permitted to go ahead.
In the case of the event being unable to go ahead due to COVID-19 lockdown your purchase will be refunded as long as notifiction of lockdown is in excess of 48 hours prior to the event start time.
We will not offer refunds if you are asked to self isolate or contract COVID-19. We will allow transfer of tickets.
In the case of reduced capacity due to COVID-19 it will be strictly a first-come, best-dressed scenario in which those who purchased their tickets first will get preference of attendance.
COVID-19 VACCINATION POLICY
As per the current Victorian Government Public Health Orders all guests over the age of 18 must provide evidence of being fully vaccinated against COVID-19 or be medically exempt. Those who are unable to provide sufficient official evidence of medical exemption unfortunately will not be able to enter the venue and our cancellation and no-show policy will apply to those guests unable to enter and we will not be offering refunds in this case.
