(Sat, Nov 4) JESSICA LUXX – Single Launch + Ruby Jones (George Lane Matinee Sessions)

November 4, 2023 @ 3:00 pm - 6:00 pm AEDT

Adelaide-based country/folk singer-songwriter Jessica Luxx comes from a long lineage of artists who have their roots deep down in the good earth of gospel and folk music. From the tender age of 12, when she received a guitar as a gift from her uncle, Jessica embarked on a voyage of self-expression, crafting melodies inspired by the likes of Jewel, Joni Mitchell and The Beatles, while embracing the folk classics sung by her mother and fellow musicians around campfires and in local folk clubs. Her unique storytelling and sing along choruses will leave you with a feel-good sense of nostalgia and sweet ‘n’ dusty vibes. Jessica stole hearts with her debut single, Heavy Lifting – a song that resonated deeply with listeners and is still featuring in community radio airplay charts nationwide. Known for her generous and memorable live shows, Jessica recently headlined Adelaide’s iconic Wheatsheaf Hotel, wowing a jubilant full house with an inspired set.
With a new single, The Temple, and accompanying video and the Take No Prisoners Tour, along with appearances at Summer Festivals and an eagerly anticipated debut album on the horizon, the later half of 2023 and the new year is looking very busy for this enchanting songstress.
