PAT POWELL with THE BLUES ROULETTE BIG BAND

Boasting a blistering 8-piece band of Melbourne’s blues royalty Blues Roulette Big Band is a powerhouse of Chicago Rhythm and Blues and has been selling out club shows and blowing festival audiences away for the past seven years. Pat Powell will be fronting the Big Band for a great afternoon of soul, blues and R&B.
With a career spanning over four decades and across the globe, Pat Powell is one of Australia’s most accomplished vocal talents. Hailing from the highly musical Jamaican community of Bristol, Pat toured extensively throughout Europe before descending on Sydney with great force. Pat has shared the stage with a veritable who’s who of the music world from Kylie Minogue to James Brown, Michael Hutchence to Boy George. More recently Pat has been seen fronting the juggernaut that is the Melbourne Ska Orchestra, and has won several prestigious awards with this project.
