Heavily influenced by the rhythms of his home country Brasil, Lux blends percussive rhythms, vintage drum machines and synthesizers to create a cosmic dance experience. The one-man band loops live percussion, funky guitar rhythms and keys while sequencing lush soundscapes on classic analog synths and acid basslines. Influences from Jazz, House, Disco, Hip-hop, Afro-Beat and Electro are also present; merging electronic dance beats and live instruments to make your booty shake. See you in boogie town ?
Rhus Quartet are a nujazz-funk band from Naarm that play groove-based live improvisations and extended acid-jazz compositions. Rhus, the plant family of sumac, is an essential spice in middle eastern food, which inspires and fuels their creative jam sessions.
Busted Chops are a Naarm born groove fusion unit led by @jess.mahler ?
