Kinematic: The Long Divide Album Launch w/ Acapelicans and Ryan Sterling

Well, it’s been fifteen years, but we’re overjoyed to announce a return to the venue that played such a massive part in the early history of Kinematic, the Northcote Social Club, to launch our fifth studio album, The Long Divide.
Yep, we did a fair handful of shows at the NSC back in the heady years of 2005 to 2008, but as much as the shows we played, it was the countless gigs we attended and the occasional blurry night hanging in its lounge bar that in many ways set us on a musical trajectory that we still find ourselves on today.
To put the icing on the cake, joining us for this matinee performance will be Mebourne’s own acapella supergroup, Acapelicans, featuring our old mate Sarah Liversidge (who lent her stunning voice to one of the songs on The Long Divide, Two) and Melbourne music scene stalwarts Carl Panuzzo and Sime Nugent; plus the sublime acoustic sounds of Ryan Sterling, someone friends and fans of Kinematic will be familiar with, and whose self-produced albums and stirring live shows are something to behold.
We can’t wait to see everyone on our return to the NSC.
